Planning for the future workplace

On 22nd May, 2023, our S5 students had an exceptional experience participating in a mock job interview with their English teachers. 
 
First, the students were introduced to various job roles such as content creator, guest service officer, and barista. Then, they eagerly chose their ideal jobs based on their interests and attended a job fair, immersing themselves in the world of work.
 
During this immersive experience, our students learned essential skills such as understanding their strengths, researching company backgrounds, and writing their very first CV and job application letter. They gained valuable insights that will serve them well in their future careers.
 
The English teachers acted as interviewers at the job fair and conducted job interviews with each student. While some students felt nervous, the experience was fulfilling and enjoyable as they learned English in the context of workplace communication.
 
Overall, this was an exceptional learning opportunity for our S5 students, providing them with hands-on experience and skills that will be invaluable as they transition into the workforce. We are proud of their hard work and dedication and look forward to seeing them thrive in their future careers.
